No matter as i HATE to say this, I just hope to hell it is the loss of the game, and not one of face and millions in endorsements back home, that is being mulled over by some of the greatest men ever to wield the willow.

Being the eternal optimist when it comes to Indian cricket, and with due respects to the 'Tigers', i would still be praying for Bangaldesh to commit Hara-kiri.

For a moment, chuck aside the-great-indian-fiasco last weekend, the two sad teary-eyed farewells (of different kinds though), mindlessly murdered minnows, spirited performances, resurgences and demises....... -- basically -- rewind yourself to the start of the 'Cup'.

Just one of those newspaper reports meant to push the adrenaline a tad up. Contents, being ToI, are not important.

But as an ad campaign, effective. No?

The last time I was home, I stunned people around me, including my folks, by my appearance.

This time I am home, the people around me, including my folks, are again stunned by my appearance.

And these are two entirely different reasons. :D
